Promenade Between Golf del Sur, Los Abrigos, and Costa del Silencio

Currently spanning about 3 kilometers, it offers one of southern Tenerife’s most relaxing coastal walks.

Section towards Los Abrigos

The route starts below the Alua Atlántico Hotel, following a stone-paved seaside path with railings that winds between hotels and restaurants. It gradually turns into a wooden walkway through a semi-desert landscape, with shaded seating areas and benches that invite you to stop and take in the ocean view.

The walk to Los Abrigos takes around 30 minutes at a relaxed pace, ending directly at the fishing port. The village is known for its authentic Canarian charm and excellent seafood restaurants by the harbor.

New promenade towards Costa del Silencio

The newly built section of the promenade begins above the marina in Golf del Sur and continues towards Costa del Silencio. The first part features a wide asphalt cycling path with panoramic views, running past the Amarilla Golf course.

Beyond it, the surface changes into a gravel coastal path with railings, later narrowing into a scenic trail that leads all the way to the Costa del Silencio coastline or the striking Montaña Amarilla. The entire walk takes about one hour, offering unforgettable views of the cliffs and ocean.
